Downlighting/Moonlighting is the illumination of an object, area, or surface from above. The light, usually mounted high inside a canopy of tree or structure, bathes the ground or object with a dappled appearance and a soft glow. Downlighting simulates the appearance of moonlighting adding an elegant glow to the outdoor space.
