Crosslighting is a variation of uplighting using two or more luminaries directed at the same object, area, or surface from an opposite or different direction. Detail is accentuated along with surface relief and shadows are minimized. Surface texture is enhanced along with relief and also shadows. Primarily used on statues and objects of interested and focal point lighting.
